In MakeMusic Cloud any content you import or create in Compose and Sight Reading Builder is stored in the Content Manager. The Content Manager allows you to organize all your imports into selection folders and makes it easier to find music that you'd like to edit, open, assign, share, or delete.

Navigate to the Content Manager

1. Select Content Manager from the menu on the left.



2. The Content Manager has four sections: Selections, My Content, Shared With Me, and Shared With Others. Click on the arrow to the right to expand any section.



Creating a Selection

1. To organize your content, select the + icon next to Selections. A folder under Selections appears.



2. Enter in a name for your selections folder and select the check button to save the name.



3. Add content to the selection folder by selecting the folder under Selections and selecting the + icon next to the content you are adding.



4. A selection folder and the content that is inside the folder can be renamed. Select the pencil icon to enter in the new name.



5. Select the check button to save your changes.



6. After adding content to a selection, they can be edited, opened, assigned, removed from the selection, and deleted entirely by selecting the corresponding buttons, as labeled below.

  • Removing content from the Selection folder puts it back in My Content.



7. To delete a Selection, click the Delete selection button.

  • You can delete a selection even if there is content in it.



8. After clicking Delete selection, a confirmation window appears. Click Delete to finish the process.

  • Note that if you delete a selection folder with content still in it, the content will not be deleted. You can find the content that was in the deleted folder under My Content.



Search your content

1. To find a specific title, select the magnifying glass icon 🔍 next to My Content and enter in the title you are searching for.

  • You can also sort your content by Name or the Date it was last updated with the Name and Date buttons above the list.

  • The magnifying glass 🔍 icon and Name/Date buttons can be used to sort other sections of the Content Manager as well.


2. After selecting the piece you want, you can use the corresponding buttons to Edit, Share, Assign, or Delete the piece.

  • If you have shared your piece, a list of recipients will populate under Shared With. You can manage shared access there.



3. If you select Delete, a confirmation message will appear. Select Delete to complete the process.
