In MakeMusic Cloud any content you import or create in Compose and Sight Reading Builder is stored in My Library (formerly in “Content Manager”). The My Content section allows you to organize all your imports into selection folders and makes it easier to find music that you'd like to edit, open, assign, share, or delete.

Navigate to My Content 


 

  1. From the menu on the left, select My library. 
  2. Under My Content, you will find folders All my content, Shared with me, and any custom folders you have created.

 

 

Creating a Folder

  1. Click +New Folder, name it, and click Create.
  2. To add content to the folder, locate the title in All my content.
  3. Click the three dots, then Add to folder.
  4. Select the folder you want to add to. The title now appears in that folder.
    • Note that titles may only be added to one folder. If you would like to add a title to multiple lists, you may use Playlists by clicking the Add to playlist icon.
  5. Any folder can be renamed. Select the pencil icon to enter in the new name for the folder, then click the check ✓ button to save your changes.
  6. After adding content to a folder, they can be edited, opened, assigned, removed from the folder, and deleted entirely by selecting the corresponding buttons, as labeled below.
    • Removing content from the Selection folder puts it back in My Content.
  7. To delete a folder, click the trash can icon next to the name.
    • Note that if you delete a folder with content still in it, the content will not be deleted. You can find the content that was in the deleted folder under All My Content.

 


 

Search your content

  1. To find a specific title, type into the Type to search bar.
  2. You may also sort the content by most recent, oldest, and alphabetically (ascending and descending).
