If I upload an .xml file of a song with a fermata, or if I upload an .xml file without one and add it in using the SmartMusic composing feature, or if I compose the entire thing in SmartMusic, I can't seem to get the fermatas to play correctly in the playback option; it just blows right past them at the same steady tempo of the entire piece. What am I doing incorrectly???
Hello all, I'm happy to let you know we've recently added playback support for fermatas and caesuras in Compose. Add a fermata/caesura via the Symbol menu in Compose, or select one that's already in the score, and the Symbol properties menu appears on the left side of the screen. Here, you can select Playback duration to enable the effect and use the slider to customize the duration of the effect.
