Would love to be able to send private students an assignment without having to go through the rigmarole of creating a class, setting up grading rubrics etc. It used to be so easy in Classic.

Michael, perhaps Band-in-a-Box would work for your uses? I haven't used it, but I'm also keeping my ears open for a good replacement for Classic.

Agree completely. I don't know why they are eliminating the Classic when so many comments in the feature requests show that most do not like the web-based version. I cannot ask my students to practice at a slow tempo when the solo instrument sound gener...
