Yes, please make it possible for teachers to assign scales in lower octaves.  Otherwise, this feature is useless.

Hi Barb, I have received a response and responded back to SmartMusic.  Here is a copy of that exchange (starting from most recent.)  I still don't know what is going on with the tempo fluctuations, but at least SmartMusic is finally addressing the issue...

I have a similar issue.  When I assign my students music to practice, the accompaniment and metronome tempos fluctauate - going faster, then sloewr. This is unacceptable.  I have emailed the Tech support people.  Will let you know if I hear anything hel...
