  • Play: Tap to start playback without recording.

  • Record: Tap this button to record a take. When recording for the first time, you are prompted to calibrate your microphone.†† You then have the option to start recording right away or return to the music and record when ready. The Replay button is used to playback your most recent take.

†† We recommend that you connect headphones after completing the microphone calibration, especially if you are recording with an accompaniment track and recording, to ensure accurate assessment, though please note that Bluetooth/wireless headphones are not officially supported, as the delay inherent in wireless connections prevents accurate assessment.

  • Change Music: Open this menu to change movements in a book or the instrument part you are viewing.
