A repeat can be entered by selecting a bar line with the Selection tool, or by entering one of the ending options under the Line menu. When a bar line is selected, or when a repeat ending has been added to a score, the Playback – Repeat manager will appear with either the Edit bar line or Edit ending menu in the left panel (see below).

The Edit ending options are for an ending to be customized by the number bars the ending contains, the text that appears with the ending, and its ending shape.

All repeat indicators in a score are reflected in the Repeat sequence field. When the Custom sequence option is checked, manual edits can be made to the measure playback order. This sequence will be validated against what is in the score and will only be allowed.

Checking Use absolute bar numbers will show absolute bar numbers in the score and allow for these to be used in the sequence field (absolute bar numbers are the number for a bar regardless if a bar has had its number changes manually or not used in the bar count).

Clicking Expand Repeat Structure will take the repeat sequence numbering and expand this into through-written measures and remove all repeat.
