We're aware of assessment issues in for French Horn (F Horn) of the first book of the Traditions of Excellence method series. An issue with cue notes in the horn exercises causes some notes to be skipped by MakeMusic Cloud's assessment, resulting in only the rests being assessed.
Our team has identified the issue and is planning on fixing the affected exercises, and we expect the work to happen sometime in early 2026.
We recognize this issue impacts teachers who use this book with their horn players. If you a teacher encountering this issue, we recommend using our new Audio/Visual assignment feature to create separate assignments for your horn players. They can read from their physical method book while recording audio or video, which you can manually assess in your Gradebook.
