If you're seeing this error message, you have previously signed in to MakeMusic Cloud with a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Canvas, Classlink, or Schoology, and then tried to sign in via Google after.

You can only have one Single Sign-On (SSO) method connected to your account at any given time. If you see this message, it may be because you're supposed to sign in via an LMS instead of using Google.
If you truly need to sign in with Google instead of an LMS, you must contact us to remove the LMS integration from your account first and reset your MMC password in preparation for your first sign in with Google. You can reach us by clicking Submit a Request at the top of this page.
Lastly, regardless of the SSO method your account is using, it is always possible to type in your MakeMusic login credentials—email/username and password—as a fallback option.
