There is a known issue unique to ungraded assignments where particularly long instructional text from the teacher can cause the Okay button to appear offscreen when the student goes to record, which prevents the student from proceeding. With normal browser zoom settings, this appears to happen when about 90 words are exceeded.

While we don't have an immediate fix, there are a couple workarounds you can use in the meantime.

  1. Try zooming out temporarily to see if that allows you to see and press the Okay button. You can zoom out in your internet browser by using the relevant keyboard shortcut provided below.
    • Chromebook: Press CTRL+hyphen (-).
    • Windows: Press CTRL+hyphen (-).
    • Mac: Press COMMAND+hyphen (-).
    • iPad: select the A A icon in the address bar, then press the little A icon next to the percentage to zoom out.
  2. If the device has a keyboard, press the TAB key once and then press ENTER (Windows/Chromebook) or RETURN (Mac). This should select the offscreen Okay button.
