This week's updates to SmartMusic provided some valuable new features and updates, although they've also resulted in heavier server loads than anticipated, leading to unexpected performance slowdowns.

Specifically, some users have experienced slower performance from the Gradebook, while others have seen timeouts and errors during assignment creation.

Our development teams have added additional server bandwidth and are also actively working to speed up performance. We know these types of slowdowns are impactful to teachers and are actively working to resolve them, and are hopeful to see improved performance sometime early next week.

    The problem seems to be back now that school has begun.  I hope Smart Music can meet the increased demand while many programs are in remote learning.
