When Compose opens, there are three options to start working in the app:

• New Document – Allows you to create a new document using Compose’s Document Creator.
• Import – Select a MusicXML or MIDI file from your computer to open in Compose. When importing a file, a new version of the document is created in Compose using it’s native file format and is not linked to your original file. When saved, this file can be found in your MakeMusic Cloud account’s Content Manager. An updated copy of the MusicXML or MIDI file can be created using the Download options under the File menu in Compose.
• Open – Open any Compose file you have stored in your MakeMusic Cloud Content Manager.
