Teachers with paid access on an academic platform may add one or more co-teachers to their paid classes to assist with grading and assigning tasks.

Co-teachers can perform the same tasks as the class' primary teacher except archiving classes and downgrading paid classes to free unless the co-teacher is also a platform administrator.

 

To add a co-teacher(s) to your class:

 

  1. Select Manage classes from the Home screen.

    Select Manage classes from the Home screen.

     
  2. Click on the desired class name.

    Click on the desired class name.

     
  3. Click the Edit settings button.

    Note: Classes must be linked to an academic platform and marked Paid to add co-teachers. For more information, see Creating a class and Class Types and Changing Class Type. Classes created by individual All Access subscribers do not support adding co-teachers.


    Click the Edit settings button.

     

  4. Select a colleague's name from the Co-teachers dropdown menu. Repeat this step to add multiple co-teachers.

    Note: Only teachers connected to your platform can be added as co-teachers. If a colleague doens't appear in the dropdown, a platform administrator must invite them as a teacher to your organization. For more information, see Inviting Administrators and Teachers (Video).

    Select a colleauge's name from the Co-teachers dropdown menu. Repeat this to add multiple co-teachers.

     
  5. Click the Update button.

    Click the Update button.

     
  6. The co-teacher's name appears on the Class page.

    The co-teacher's name appear on the Class page.
