We are aware of an issue where the primary note following a percussion ornament—such as a flam, drag, or ruff—is incorrectly assessed.

The Problem

Even when played correctly, the primary note immediately following an ornament may be marked wrong:

For context, ornaments (flams, drags, and ruffs) appear in gray within the Practice App. This is intentional, as ornaments themselves are not assessed. Only the following primary is intended to be graded.

Current Status & Workaround

If you are a teacher, we recommend manually overriding the grade for these specific measures if a student is being penalized unfairly.
