1. Create a class within MakeMusic Cloud and take note of the Class Code.

  2. In Google Classroom, navigate to your Classwork tab and create a Topic called "MakeMusic Cloud."

  3. Create a new Assignment post called "Join the MakeMusic Cloud Class" that includes the following information:
  4. Instruct your students to join the class and sign on using their school Google Classroom credentials.

  5. Create a “Material” post with the following login link to streamline their login process. Students may use this link to streamline their login process after they've joined the MakeMusic Cloud class.

Note: Using a “Materials” post is also an easy and streamlined way to share a MakeMusic Cloud Playlist, share a sight reading exercise, or even a link to something you created in the Compose tool!

  1. Log into Google Classroom.

  2. Click the MakeMusic Cloud link your teacher has shared with you within Google Classroom.

  3. Click on Log in with Google and log in with your school Google account.


  4. Upon first login, you will be prompted to do one of two things:
    • Create a new MakeMusic Cloud account:


    • or convert your existing MakeMusic Cloud account to a Single Sign-On account:


  5. Once you are logged in, you will need your teacher's MakeMusic Cloud Class Code to join the appropriate class. For more information, see Joining a class with an existing account.
