Which LMS's are you compatible with?
We currently support SSO with Google Classroom, Schoology, Canvas, and ClassLink!
How do I sign in using Canvas or Schoology?
Follow these instructions to use Single Sign-On with Canvas or Schoology.
I created my account using Schoology or Canvas, can I sign into MakeMusic Cloud without using SSO?
Yes; you can create a password for your existing MakeMusic Cloud account by clicking Forgot Password?. Once you have a MakeMusic Cloud password set, you can still launch MakeMusic Cloud through your course’s link or use the MakeMusic Cloud login form to sign in directly.
What about assignment/gradebook integration?
We are adding features in phases. We started with SSO. Next, we released rostering. Most recently, we released grade passback to Google Classroom (grade passback is not available for other LMS integrations at this time).
Can a user log in with both their MakeMusic Cloud credentials AND use SSO (in conjunction with their supported LMS)?
Yes. A user can continue to log in with their existing MakeMusic Cloud username and password or use SSO interchangeably to access their account.
Can a user log into MakeMusic Cloud through an LMS on a smartphone?
Yes! MakeMusic Cloud is compatible on mobile devices. Learn more here.
Why am I seeing the “You already have an account with another SSO provider” message when trying to log into MakeMusic Cloud?
This means you may have already created an account login with either Google Classroom, Schoology, or Canvas and now you are trying to use an additional provider. If you’d like to switch which service you use for SSO, please contact support. We can disconnect you from the original service.
Can I use more than one Single Sign-On method? (for example, sign with both Google or Canvas)
No, your account may only use one SSO method at a time. If you previously signed in with Google, you may switch to using an LMS method (Canvas, Classlink, Schoology), but that is one-way conversion. If you have signed in with an LMS, and would like to convert back to Google, contact support so we may reset your account and allow you to sign in Google again.
